What is networking

In the Stone Age, cavemen use drum to transmit messages. If caveman A wants to invite Caveman B over for dinner, but they live too far apart for B to hear A banging his drum, what will A do?

(A). Walk over to B's place
(B). Get a bigger drum
(C). Ask C, who lives halfway btwn them, to forward the message.

Option C is what called networking ....
